Job Description

An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:- (i) monitoring and providing medical care to patients visiting the hospital; (ii) admitting patients to the hospital for specialized care; (iii) giving medical education, explaining tests and procedures to the patients; (iv) maintaining confidentiality and impartiality and keeping up to date with medical development, new drugs, treatment and medication; (v) participating in Occupational Safety and Health Work programs; (vi) performing medical and Surgical operations; and (vii) preparing and responding to emergencies and disasters
