Job Description

Manage the correct preparation of the site prior to a shop container being delivered; Carry out maintenance checks on all shop containers, and manage any necessary repairs; Manage / oversee any emergency maintenance works as they arise; Provide clear and timely communication to maintenance clients; Maintain clear and complete records of work done, and checks carried out; Assess and procure necessary items for the upkeep of the containers; Perform additional tasks as requested by the manager as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. 2+ years of experience in maintenance / construction related work; Excellent practical skills, with a working knowledge of carpentry, simple electrical works, and metal-working an advantage; Good organizational skills with attention to detail; A logical mind with the capacity to overcome difficult problems creatively; Ability to work independently in remote locations; Experience working across multiple sites across a wide geographic area; Fluent in English and Kiswahili
