Job Description

Save a Girl Save a Generation is looking for a Project Manager to start the implementation of various projects in Kenya. In the beginning the role will be as a volunteer, with the responsibility of creating the team work on the ground hiring local employees, and as the project consolidates and the needed funding is available, this person will receive a salary according to the range and responsibilities performed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. At least 2 years of experience in development organizations or nonprofit sector
2. Knowledge and experience in African countries
3. Fluent in English and Spanish wrote and spoken
4. Knowledge of private and public Spanish donors, contests application and technical justification
5. Knowledge of Gender Based Violence and Female Genital Mutilation
6. High levels of computer literacy
7. Proven experience managing and coordinating teams
8. Proven interest and previous collaboration with Save a Girl Save a Generation
9. Very proactive, ability to work independently and a team player

Education + Experience

1. Master’s degree in International Development, Gender Studies or related fields
2. Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
3. Certificate in Project Management
