Oasis Healthcare Group Limited, Kenya’s first and largest countrywide fully-integrated private healthcare system, is looking for a qualified and dedicated candidate to work with patients recovering from injuries and disabilities and help them regain their abilities and skills needed for day-to-day life and work. Key Responsibilities 1. Screening, assessing, formulating, and implementing patients’ treatment plans; 2. Carrying out clients’ functional assessment and formulating necessary interventions; 3. Initiating appropriate therapy intervention programs for patients & clients with disabilities in the Hospital and in the community; 4. Maintaining records and data relating to patients; 5. Liaising with other healthcare professionals to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention; 6. Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities. 7. Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills. 8. Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care. 9. Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients. 10. Maintaining professional knowledge and technical progress in order to provide clients with the best treatment program available. Job Requirements 1. Diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution; 2. Membership Certificate of the Kenya Occupational Therapists Association. 3. Proficiency in MS-suit applications. 4. Compassionate.
