Job Description

Maua Methodist Hospital (MMH) is a national institution of the Methodist Church in Kenya which was established in 9821 by the British Methodist Missionaries in obedience to the great commission of Christ. From that humble modest start the hospital has grown to a regional Referral and Teaching Hospital in Meru County. MMH is also a hub for community health and development services. To improve our internal audit controls, we are seeking to hire for an Internal Auditor.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Bachelor’s degree in business of commerce, Accounting, finance or related field; Professional qualifications in CPA(K), ACCA, CISA or any other recognized professional accounting qualification; Master’s in business administration, finance or related field will be an added advantage
2. Must be a member of ICPAK A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in internal audit Knowledge of IFRS and Auditing standards Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages and exposure to ERPs Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision
3. Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams Must demonstrate ability to multitask

Education + Experience
