Job Description
To improve the Sacco's market position, achieve financial growth, implement long-term organizational strategic; negotiation, close of business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing marketing initiatives in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
- Conduct market research on new products and services.
- To monitor member satisfaction and ensure that customer’s needs are addressed.
- Executing marketing and branding strategies.
- Develop implement marketing and communication strategies.
- Execute and integrate online and offline marketing initiatives.
- Preparation of annual marketing plans and forecasts for the Sacco;
- Conduct market research in order to develop insights for product development, brand positioning and brand equity growth;
- Carry out market intelligence and surveys for growth in membership and products uptake;
- Implement marketing, advertising and promotional tasks and activities in the society;
- Provide delightful customer experience to both external and internal customers.
- Ensuring availability of the Marketing promotional materials.
- Supervising the Sales and Marketing team and giving performance report to the supervisor.
- Selling and cross-selling of Sacco products
- Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Education
- A holder of Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Marketing, bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, public relations or its equivalent from a recognized university
- A member of a professional Board (MSK) is an added advantage
- Has satisfactorily served in a similar position.
- Certificate in proficiency (COP) – Insurance is an added advantage
