About Ajiry
Ajiry is an all-out initiative to reduce the rate of unemployment in Kenya. We are focused on connecting full-time, part-time, or contractual blue-collar and white-collar workers to potential employers through our Progressive Web Application. The Ajiry APP also allows users to showcase their skills and promote their business through my Hustle, thereby, facilitating the buying and selling goods online.
We are not just an application, but the solution to unemployment. To support this effort, we are opening Ajiry Job and Training Centers across 14 counties in Kenya. These Centers will act as the central location for all Ajiry activities in the area. This is where young men and women will be trained on employable skills and be given opportunities to hone their talents.
Our aim is to become the number one job placement platform in the Kenya by the end of year 2020.
Learn With Ajiry
Learn with Ajiry is the first Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) in Africa. It is built in Kenya, by the Kenyan Youths. Learn with Ajiry is a platform where users can access hundreds of accredited and non-accredited courses. These online courses are aimed at helping the users to advance their studies and learn valuable skills.
The one thing that sets Learn with Ajiry apart from other MOOCs is an exciting feature appropriately named as Build Your Own Course. This feature allows any user to share their knowledge with the rest of the world. With Build Your Own Course, you can design an original course from scratch. You can add texts, images, videos, documents, and quizzes. Enrolled students get to learn your course, take the quiz and receive a certificate after completion.
The aim of Learn with Ajiry is to promote e-learning and the production of local academic content.
