Job Description


Responsibilities:

      • Deliver an outstanding understanding of key customers service expectations to the business and ensure these expectations are met.
      • Establish, develop, and maintain a commercially beneficial relationship with key clients.
      • Achieve all sales, volume, and margin targets within key customer accounts.
      • Provide on-time weekly sales forecasting to the business.
      • Provide the business with accurate account information for use in longer-term forecasting and programming.
      • Contribute creatively and technically towards the promotion and development of the product range in existing customer based.
      • Develop new markets.
      • Continuously evaluate the supply chain to identify cost savings and opportunities to improve the quality and freshness of the product.
      • Liaise with internal departments (supply chain, procurement, technical, operations) to ensure quality and timely delivery of product.
      • Liaise with procurement and supply chain teams to address sourcing and availability issues.
      • Understand and communicate technical issues with the customer commercial team where necessary.
      • Develop and maintain an understanding of the market sector including consumer trends, competitor activity, and product lines.
      • Identify and deliver opportunities for profitable business growth within key accounts Ensure adherence of administrative and financial systems and controls
      • Provide summary information regarding sales, volumes, margins, and prices as and when required
      • Accountable for long-term strategic growth and profit of the business, the introduction of new customers.
      • Plan all products required to fulfil customers’ requirements and monitor stock usage, profit, and loss responsibility.
      • Identify and deliver opportunities for profitable business growth within key accounts Ensure the adherence to administrative and financial systems and controls
      • Relationship building within the company’s multiple customer bases and throughout the produce industry.

Requirements:

      • Relevant Bachelor’s degree
      • Experience in sourcing procurement and commercial sales in Europe and Middle East
      • Previous produce experience is required minimum 5 years and Proven commercial expertise.
      • Must be Customer Centric
      • Must have proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a commercial team in support of future growth for the business.
      • Experience with ERP system
      • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
      • Proven decision-making skills
      • Proven analytical and Proven problem-solving skills
