Job Description

The administrator will be responsible for transactions in Kenya. We are looking for a competent and motivated individual who can work independently with limited direction to:


      • Set up, configure, and maintain the core servers and applications in the Tugende ecosystem.
      • To ensure proper user management across all systems with a special focus on data safety and integrity.
      • Perform system audits, and risk assessments, and identify and action areas of Improvement.
      • Support with product and feature rollout by drafting Release notes and ensuring readiness of training materials.
      • Technical support and also serve as the main point of contact for Tugende employees who are experiencing systems and computer-related issues.
      • Diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and application tickets, either over the phone, online, or in person.
      • Perform software testing, and manage releases of applications within the Tugende eco-system.


    Preferred skills, knowledge & abilities

      • Cloud systems management
      • D365 - Configure workflows, dashboards, forms, manage users, views and build standard or custom reports
      • User Permission sets the configuration
      • Project management techniques
      • Helpdesk solutions, ticketing systems, and IT Administration Software
      • Knowledge of Virtual Communications Systems and remote support solutions
      • Virus Protection Software
      • Cyber Security and Diagnostics
      • Human-Centered Design
      • Application Installations
      • Risk analysis and treatment
      • IT Policies implementation and maintenance


      • Ability to learn new business concepts and new technologies in a fast-paced environment
      • Demonstrate high standards of interpersonal skills to work in teams
      • Experience working with a credit-related business will be an added advantage
      • Not afraid of learning new, market-demanded (and valued) technologies and products
      • Must possess a high level of professionalism and integrity
      • The ability to think logically
      • A good knowledge of how software and operating systems work
      • Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
      • D365 finance and operations
      • At least 3 years’ experience in systems administration and management
      • Understanding of IT principles and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
      • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
      • A strong sense of discretion and confidentiality is required
      • Adopt and champion the values that Tugende stands for
      • Help desk experience is an added advantage
